OGDEN – Janet Faye Sandberg Koehne, 65, passed away on November 14, 2012 at a friend's house in Layton, UT of natural causes. She was born April 22, 1947 in Ogden, Utah to Virginia Rosetta (Ross) and Frank Albert Sandberg. Janet graduated from Ben Lomond High School in 1965. She worked at IRS when first married, but spent most of her married life as a housewife. She enjoyed reading, movies, TV, shopping, traveling, pets and wildlife.

Janet is survived by her husband of 42 years, Johnny; her two daughters, Jessica Koehne (serving in the Navy in Rota, Spain), and her youngest child, Susan Koehne; she is also survived by her brother, John (Ann) Jones of AZ; her stepmother, Olive Sandberg; brother-in-law, Joseph Michelli; sister-in-law, Pat Dodge and various extended family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her little boy, Matthew Koehne; two sisters, Carol Michelli and LuAnn Smith; three stepbrothers, Dale, Harry (June) and LaMar Dodge.

Special thanks to our dear friends, Diane and Bill Hope for their friendship and care for Janet.
