May 27, 1947 to April 24, 2004

SYRACUSE – Randall Odie Brady, 56, a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, died suddenly on Saturday, April 24, 2004 in Layton.

The first of five children born to Odie and Glenna Beck Brady, Randall's journey began on May 27, 1947 in Ogden, Utah. A member of Ben Lomond High School's Class of '65, Randy joined the ROTC while still in high school and the U.S. Army Reserves soon after.

He married Stephanie Chambers on June 12, 1986 in Lake Tahoe, Nevada.

Randy's true passion in life was to build. Prior to becoming the master carpenter that we all remember, Randy was privileged to serve his apprenticeship under his own father. Randy's 39 years as a builder can be witnessed all over the country from the five building office complex in Chicago to the five-star Grand America Hotel in downtown Salt Lake City. Randy's other loves were his hobbies. He loved to vacation with his wife Stephanie; fish and ride Harley Davidson motorcycles with his sons Justin and Brian; or boast about how proud he was of his daughter Britney's homecoming to serenity.

Surviving are his true love and wife of 20 years, Stephanie Brady, Syracuse; children Britney Lynn Brady, Justin Randall Brady and Brian Kelly (Tory) Brady; stepsons, Brian J (Meredith) Bowman and Scott David (Christie) Bowman; grandchildren, Brock and Bailey Bowman, Joseph Walker, Heather Walker, Dylan Brady and Zack and Allyessa Bowen; and his best friend, his English bulldog, Willie G. Also surviving are his mother, Glenna, his brother, Mike (Amy) Brady, and sisters, Claudia Massie and Marcy (Gary) Keyes.

Welcoming Randall to Heaven are his father, Odie, and his brother, Kelly Brady.

The family wishes to thank all of Randy's friends throughout the construction community, his riding buddies of the Northern Utah, Chicago and San Antonio Harley Owners Groups, and anyone else fortunate enough to call Randy their friend.

A memorial gathering was held Saturday at Lindquist's Ogden Mortunary; cremation under the direction of Lindquist's Crematory.
