Obituary
Roy E. Bronson, 75 passed away on July 7th surrounded by loved ones. He was
born September 7, 1946 in Ogden Utah. His parents were Roy Demont and Hazel Devoe Bronson. He graduated from
Ben Lomond High School in 1965. He also served in the Air Force for 4 years. He married Gaye B. Wills in
1968 and they had 4 children together. They later divorced. He worked for Hercules/ ATK for 36 years
and retired in 2005. He enjoyed 17 years of fun in retirement.
Roy loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed going
camping, fishing, ATV riding, shooting, shopping at Desert Industries, and getting coffee with his friends.
He was very friendly and could talk to anyone. He was generous to all. Roy was a handy man and could fix
just about anything. He was very artistic and loved to draw and paint.
Roy is survived by his children Aaron (Aimee) Bronson, Marci (Mike) Barrow,
Gina (Kyle) Hancock: his 22 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, his brother Fred, sisters Hazel,
Barbara, Alice, and Kay: his girlfriend Irene and her son and his ex-wife Gaye and son Jason. Roy was
preceded in death by his beloved son Shane; his parents, two sisters Darlene, and Cheryl; his ex-husband
Rick and his good friends Charley and Brent.
A viewing will be held at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. Ogden on
Friday July 22nd from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be on Saturday July 23rd at 11 AM with a viewing from
9:40-10:40 AM. He will be laid to rest at the West Haven Cemetery.
