Our beloved mom, grandmother, great grandmother (GG)
passed away peacefully at home 8/8/2022 at 3:47am. She was surrounded by family and fought a long hard battle
with COPD and Emphysema.
She was a mother to many and a grandmother to the
world. Blood never defined her love for anyone. She had tons to give and was never selfish and gave it to
anyone in need. Those amazing hugs, those beautiful talks and laughs we will all miss so so
deeply.
I (Angelic) had the pleasure to have my mom as my
bestest (her words) friend my whole life and a bond that was and will continue to be the most amazing thing.
Taking care of her over the last 20 yrs. since being sick had created something money or anything could never
replace and that was this love between mother and daughter that was so deep and precious. Almost like a bond in
reverse like when a mom has a small child for the first time. A bond so hard to explain, but it was
ours.
I love you so much mommy and always will remember our
talks, our hearts, and want you to know your fairy wings are so beautiful. I will miss you for eternity. Love
your little Angel ❤️
Chance, her grandson, had the most amazing bond, they
were each other’s Tiggers as they were the only ones. He was the one that always made her feel safe, she always
said she was the lucky one to have him as hers. He blessed her with an amazing great grandson Hayden in 2011
that she loved so much. They had that GG bond no one could ever break.
Skylar also had this amazing bond with her, it was
fun to see the stubbornness they both had being Virgo’s as it made their bond just a special one. They always
had amazing times, the laughs the talks and the amazing love for her.
Tayah and her bond also were so amazing. Their bond
was beyond special. Their talks, laughs, sleepovers and many other things made it very magical and she always
told her gma she would live forever (and will in all our hearts). She gave her two beautiful great
granddaughters Willow in 2018 and in 2021 she gave her the most precious gift and that was a great
granddaughter Juniper born on her birthday and she said that day that she was the best present she had ever
received.
I (Laurie) love and miss our mommy so much, she was
so sweet, smart and silly. My momma taught me everything i know about cooking and boy was she a great cook. She
taught me how to climb a pile of cars at a junk yard to get parts to fix cars (when you could still work on
your own). Also, for my love for great music, and we went to many concerts together. We will all miss her so
much but we know that she is in the hands of our lord and savior Jesus Christ. Amen. I love you mommy, love
from Laurie. We'll see you soon on the other side.
Alyssa, Sarah and Aurora, her Granddaughters, were
the most amazing souls to her. Aurora’s favorite thing to say was “You silly lady” and always talk to her and
make her smile no matter how far away she was talking about everything and about nothing. Alyssa enjoying
watching movies and spending time with her and talking about dragons and other mystical things. She also gave
her two amazing great grandsons, Gavin and Ronin. Sarah the gentle one who always made her smile always no
matter what she did always spent time with her and loved her so much. She also gave her a great grandson
Lucian.
Her grandchildren/great grandchildren loved her so
much and everyone had their special connection with her and took care of her so beautifully.
Her hobbies were drawing, painting, crafting, putting
puzzles together, crocheting and just spending time with her family.
She graduated from Weber State with a bachelor’s
degree in electronics and also tutored there in the math field and loved helping people. She was also a CNA for
a while as she always had so much love to give.
She is preceded in death by: husband, Robert Ray,
mother Dorothy Myrtle Nelson, brother, father and son in law Erik Cheney.
She is survived by Daughters: Laurie Cheney, Angelic

I would like to give special thanks to Nolan Evans,
he was her best friend, home teacher, someone who listened to her talk and helped with yard work for many
years. He really has impacted our lives and we are forever grateful. He helped us through her passing, gave her
blessings and helped to get all her stuff together through Myers Mortuary and to see her off there to make sure
she was safe and warm.
Also, thank you Myers Mortuary for taking such good
care of our mom, grandma and great grandma and being the amazing support we needed as a family filled with
grief and heartache.
In lieu of flowers
please donate at Golden West Credit Union under her daughters name Angelic Lundgreen.
Memorial Services will be held at a later
date.
