With a twinkle in her eyes and a heart brimming with love, Lynda Frost, born on December 9, 1946, in Delta,
Utah. She was a testament to the power of laughter and love, her favorite saying being the mischievous,
"the old lady did it." A fabulous concoction of humor, humility, and infectious spirit, Lynda unexpectedly
left us on December 29, 2023, but her laughter echoes in our hearts, brightening even the darkest of
days.
Lynda was a loving homemaker, creating a warm sanctuary where she resided in Ogden, Utah, with her
grandchildren Courtney and Dan Andreasen, along with the pitter-patter of little feet and the giggles of
her great-grandchildren. Her spirit was most radiant when surrounded by her loved ones. She was a humble
woman, yet her infectious spirit made her a beacon for everyone around her. The blankets she crafted were
woven with just as much love as the stories she told; crosswords, journaling, and capturing the precious
moments of her great-grandchildren's growing years were her cherished hobbies. Lynda was also a fierce
supporter of the Vikings, her favorite football team.
Lynda is survived by her children, Randy (Jean) Frost, Mitchell (Nicole) Frost, and Holly Hagel; her
siblings, William Howard, Evan Howard, Helen Howard, Rose (Tony) Morales, and Ann Barney; many
grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, James
Howard and Zella Lovell Howard, and her sister, Susan Howard.
In the immortal words of Dr. Seuss, "Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened." Our Lynda was
a woman who lived her life with love and laughter, and she would want us to remember her with a smile. We
invite you to share your favorite memories of this amazing woman and upload photos on her memorial page to
celebrate her enduring spirit.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, January 5, 2024, 2:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington
