Moved Out Of State: After teaching one year at Skyline High in SLC I spent a very fun summer in Washington, DC with Marcia Healy (she worked for Senator Bennett and I worked for Senator Moss). Returned to Utah to continue teaching. After marrying Ron Nelson (Granite High '65)in 1972 we moved to Seattle, Washington for six great years for Ron's employment with Boeing. Returned to Utah in 1978 and lived in Murray for 24 years and now in West Jordan for the past three.

Personal Info: After high school I spent the next 4 years at BYU, graduating in Business Ed. Taught 3 years at Skyline HS in SLC. Married Ron Nelson, moved to Seattle, had 3 kids, moved back to Utah and had 3 more. Served on Murray School Board, State PTA, then began teaching as an Adjunct Instructor in Developmental Math (Algebra) at Salt Lake Community College. Love it. Continue to spend lots of time in service in the LDS Church. Loved every minute raising my six kids and attending all of their high school and college activities and sporting events. We covered the sports of football, baseball, volleyball, wrestling, lacrosse, softball, track and field, and basketball. Though graduating from BYU, I have become an avid U of U fan--thanks to conversion of my husband. I haven't been in town for a BLHS reunion yet and really want to get to see many of you again. I have wonderful memories with so many of you and send my love.
