Out Of State: My husband's employment transferred us to Kansas.
Personal Info:
Following high school I attended Weber
State and received a degree in Child Development. I then attended Utah State
and completed a Masters Degree in Special Education. While at Utah State I
met and married my husband, Dave. In 1979 his employment transferred us to
the Kansas City area.
My 3 grandchildren live in Abilene, Texas with my daughter and son-in-law.
They live too far away, but I work it out to seem them as often as possible.
My son is currently attending the University of Kansas. I work as an
Instructional Resource Teacher for the Olathe School District. The position
provides me an opportunity to work with new educators by training them and
conducting staff development sessions.
In 2002 I lost my husband, Dave, to leukemia. I miss him greatly but find
that responsibilities with my job and church service keep me busy and that's
a good thing.
I'm not able to attend the reunion, but appreciate this website as a way of
staying in touch with so many of you.
