Out Of State: Employment. Worked in Kingsten, New York and Dallas,
Texas doing environmental consulting work for Texas Instruments. Career
employment as a Forester and Natural Resource Manager for the last 30 years
with the Bureau of Land Management in Roseburg, Oregon, Medford, Oregon, and
Dillon, Montana before moving back to Kanab, Utah (almost in Arizona) in
1990 and then to Murray, Utah in 2001.
Personal Info:
After graduation from high school, I
served a LDS mission to Austria. In 1970 I married Cindy Blain from Ogden, a
Ogden High School graduate. We have been married for 35 years and still in
love. After graduating from Utah State with a degree in Forest Management, I
worked for 3 years doing environmental studies on nuclear and fossil fueled
power plant sites in New York, Indiana, and Texas. In 1975 I changed jobs to
pursue my desire to manage forest and natural resources. I have been doing
that work for the last 30 years. It has been a rewarding experience to
manage the nations public land resources. My family and I have enjoyed
living and travel to so many different areas of the country and making
friends everywhere we have been. My ambitions now are to enjoy my kids and
grandchildren and spend as much time as I can fly-fishing on trout streams
in the West. I am looking forward to the class reunion and associating with
classmates I have not seen for 30+ years.
